H επίσημη δισκογραφία της δημοφιλέστερης μπάντας στην ιστορία της μουσικής στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (UK), μέσα από τις «στουντιακές» ηχογραφήσεις τους.

Από τους Quarry Men και τους Silver Beatles, στους Beetles και τους Beatles, από το club Indra του Αμβούργου, στο ντεμπούτο στην τηλεόραση στο πρόγραμμα Teenager Turn του B.B.C. Στις 24 Ιανουαρίου του 1962 υπογράφουν συμβόλαιο με τον μάνατζερ Brian Epstein και λίγο αργότερα την ίδια χρονιά ο George Martin προσελήφθη σαν παραγωγός του συγκροτήματος.

Κάπως έτσι ξεκινάει η ιστορία της πιο μεγάλης μπάντας που γνώρισε ποτέ ο πλανήτης,

Ο πρώτος τους δίσκος , το Please please me, κυκλοφόρησε το 1963 και ο τελευταίος το 1970, με τον τίτλο Let it be.
Κάτι οι κόντρες Lenon και McCartney, κάτι η Yoko Ono, που για πολλούς ήταν η κυριότερη αιτία, το συγκρότημα οδηγείται στην οριστική του διάλυση. Την 10/6/1970, ο Paul McCartney ανακοίνωσε ότι οι Beatles δεν θα δουλέψουν ξανά μαζί και λίγους μήνες αργότερα την 30/12/1970 ο ίδιος οριστικοποίησε το τέλος των Beatles καταθέτοντας σχετική αγωγή. Η απόφαση του δικαστηρίου ήρθε τέσσερα χρόνια αργότερα, την ίδια ημέρα...
